RAMBAN, Mar 22: District Information Centre Ramban today organised a awareness camp to make the student community aware about their moral duties and about the various social evils prevalent in the society.
ZEPO Ramban Firdous Ahmed was the chief guest and Principal of the host school Bhartiya Vidya Mandir presided over the function.
In the camp many guest speakers from different backgrounds delivered lectures on the topics like water conservation and sanitation, child marriage, mental hygiene, benefits of sports, obeying traffic rules, balanced diet and moral education.
Quiz competition was also held in which 10 students participated out which three top positions were secured by Palvi Rai, Sohana Farooki and Udhayveer Singh. All winners were awarded prizes and participation certificates.
ZEPO and Principal appreciated the efforts of Information department in taking such initiatives.
