REASI, Mar 10: A youth hailing from Katra town, died of heart- attack at Shiv Khori shrine today.
Reports said 24-year-old Vikas Goswami, son of Late Mohinder Goswami, resident of Darshni Gate Mohalla, Katra had gone to Shiv Khori on Maha Shivratri festival. He was member of Shiv Mandli Langar party, Katra and was offering services to the pilgrims there.
The youth developed some problem in the cave and came out and was taken to the base camp hospital where he was declared as dead. His body was later sent to his home town in the afternoon. Vikas was married just last year and was associated with the langar for offering his services to the pilgrims. His sudden demise has shocked the Langar organizers, members of the Shrine Board, many devotees and the people of Katra town.
