SURANKOTE, Dec 5: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today inaugurated SHD International School here in presence of galaxy of officers, parents and prominent citizens of the area.
The State of the art institution from Pre-Nursery to 3rd class on CBSE Pattern has been opened under the chairmanship of Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja, a retd. KAS officers. The school will provide smart classes, interactive classroom environment, Audio-visual aids for learning, talking books technology, regular medical checkups for students, transportation etc to raise the educational standards of this border and educationally backward area.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav impressed on the importance of value-based education and the requirement of modern educational tools and techniques to keep pace with times.
Chairman Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja assured the parents that his organization will provide best educational facilities and congenial environment for overall upbringing of the children. Although the school infrastructure is now complete the real testimony now lies in conducting regular schooling, improving the quality of education and increasing the number of students in the school, so that the future of all children is secured.
