JAMMU, May 3: J&K Congress today urged Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi Modi to order a high level probe into the serious allegations and big disclosures made by a senior BJP leader and former legislator Vikram Randhawa in a press conference.
In a letter addressed to PM, the Congress said Randhawa indicated through his press conference a “hafta culture” by some senior officers with patronage of higher ups. Stating that the former BJP legislator pointed fingers towards MoS PMO, the Congress demanded immediate resignation or sacking of the Minister besides a high level probe into the matter to expose the alleged nexus.
Taking strong note of the big disclosures and the serious allegations of “hafta culture” by some officers in the administration under the patronage of higher ups by a senior BJP leader, JKPCC has said that the onus is on the Prime Minister Narinder Modi to act since the needle of accusations have reached his office by his own senior party member and none else.
President of JKPCC G A Mir and other senior party leaders expressed grave concern over the work culture under the BJP regime as disclosed by the BJP leader of the level of a former legislator who has explained his personal experiences as a public man. The accusations are very serious and only tip of the iceberg as people are being harassed and coerced and forced to pay for genuine works in Government offices but no one listens contrary to the tall claims, he added.
The signatories of the letter include former ministers and vice presidents of JKPCC Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Kanta Bhan, Ravinder Sharma, Rajnish Sharma, general secretaries Yogesh Sawhney and Manmohan Singh and Ex-MLAs Shiv Dev Singh, Ashok Sharma and Balbir Singh and others.
