CM’s Grievance Cell team conducts surprise inspection

SRINAGAR, July 6: Responding to the complaints filed with Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, a team on the directions of Coordinator, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti, today undertook surprise inspection of the Public Health Centre, Zadibal.
The residents of Zadibal had complaint regarding lack of essential amenities doctors and paramedic and technical staff at the PHC, resulting in serious difficulties to the patients.
During the inspection, the team discovered that out of 13 doctors posted in the PHC only 5 doctors were found present and likewise, out of 45 paramedical staff, only 11 were in attendance. Besides, most rooms at the center were found locked.
The Divisional Commis-sioner was informed of the situation and on reviewing the case, the missing doctors, para-medical staff were placed under immediate suspension.
