JAMMU, Mar 27: District level cultural activities were today organised at Katra SMVDSB Auditorium Spiritual Growth Centre.
Simrandeep Singh,Chief Executive Officer SMVD Shrine Board Katra was the chief guest on the occasion who started the cultural programme by lighting the lamp. Naresh Singh, ASP Katra welcomed guests and prominent citizens in the event.
Various schools of district Reasi participated in the cultural event including Durga Public Shiksha Kendra School Naley Katra, Kidzee School Reasi, Amba Kids Home Panthal, Govt. Higher Sec. School Panthal, Saraswati Mother Nursery School Katra, Presentation Convent School Reasi and Comedian Amit Anotra alias Chuie (guest appearance).
Special performance was given by Namya Rajput, Fantasy International School Arli, Dev Kids School Katra & Trikuta Public High School Katra.
The programme was witnessed by Nisha Nathyal, SSP Reasi, Jatendra Kumar, CO CRPF 6 Bn. Katra, Bodh Raj DySP Railway Katra, Capt. Harpreet Singh, Incharge Army Didi Morh, Inspector Narinder Singh, SHO Railway Katra and Inspector Pardeep Gupta SHO Katra.
The programme was also witnessed by prominent citizens of Katra town including Shashi Gupta, Chairman Municipal Committee Katra, Shiv Kumar Sharma, president of International wrestling competition of Katra, Rakesh Wazir, President of Hotel Association of Katra town, Ravi Nag Councillor, Smt. Bindu Baru, Sh. Sham Lal Kesar, Varinder Kesar, Sonu Thakur, Sarpanchs, Panches etc.
At the end of the cultural programme, Simrandeep Singh, CEO SMVD Shrine Board Katra distributed the certificates/trophies among the participants of various local Schools of Katra town and congratulated all the participants of different schools and assured that such cultural programme will also be held in future to encourage the children and groom them for their future endeavour, which will also keep them away from drug addiction and other bad habits.
