KARGIL, Sept 15: Chief Executive Counsellor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil today visited Sub Division Kargil.
The CEC visited Boys Higher Secondary School, Drass and took stock of educational facilities there, including the new laboratory block constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 65 lakh. He also inspected the under construction school building coming up at a cost of Rs 239 lakh and urged the concerned department to complete the work in the stipulated time.
During the visit to Sub District Hospital, Drass, the CEC took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients. On the occasion, the doctors asked for installation of heating system to overcome severe cold conditions during winter months.
Earlier, the CEC met a delegation at Dag Bungalow Drass and took stock of availability of food items for winter months.
The CEC was accompanied by Executive Counsellors, Advisor CEC, SDM Drass and other district and block officers.
