KARGIL, Sept 16: The Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan along with Executive Councilor Haji Ghulam Amir and district officers visited all the villages of Shargole blocks, and inspected the ongoing developmental works.
During the visit, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan inspected pace of work at Highest Motorable Bridge in Kargil district, which is coming up at Tharumsa Pashkum. The height of the bridge is 50 meter and is 74 meter long.
Other bridges and roads which were inspected by the team includes Fish Farm Wakha Motorable Bridge coming up at a cost of Rs 2.51 crore, the Rs 1.37 crore Buddhist Study Center and the additional Block of Primary Health Center Shargole coming up at a cost of Rs 67 lakh.
Kacho also visited Pashkum, Shargole, Khachey, Karamba, Fokar Foo, Mulbekh and Wakha and inspected various projects coming up under various developmental schemes.
Various delegations in these villages had interaction with the CEC, who gave patient hearing to their grievances.
Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan directed the concerned officer to pace up the work so that people can get benefit of these projects as early as possible.
On way back, the team also inspected the work at Grid Station Mulbek and lying of transmission lines at various places.
