Boy injured in mysterious blast

RAJOURI, Jan 22: A 15-year-old boy was injured in mysterious blast at village Nambla under Rajouri police jurisdiction this evening.
A police spokesman said that 15-year-old   Mohd Zaffar, son of Mohd Salim, resident of Nambla, received serious injuries in an explosion at around 7 pm near his residence. He was removed to district hospital Rajouri by the family members. They disclosed that Zaffar had gone to bring some dry grass for cattle  from the huge heap raised for the winter stock in the nearby fields. As he was pulling grass bundles, a grenade like object fell down and exploded.
The police suspected that somebody must had hidden explosive material there in the grass. The police registered a case and started investigation. The boy was being referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
