JAMMU, Sept 18: A minor boy today died of an electric shock at his residence in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the boy identified as Akshay Kumar son of Yashpal of Miran Sahib, received severe electric shock this evening when he accidentally came in contact with naked electric wires at his residence.
In unconscious condition family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he failed to respond to the treatment.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
