RAJOURI, Aug 10: A minor boy drowned in a Nallah in Rajgarh area of Budhal in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that one Mohd Umar (16)- student of class 10th, son of Mohd Farooq, hailing from Gabbar village, presently residing at Dandote (Sector Budhal) while returning from school when reached at Hayan bridge at 14:30 hrs, started taking bath in the Jhori Nallah and was drowned.
The parents started searching for the boy when they saw the school bag lying on the side of the Nallah. They also intimated police. With the help of locals of the area, later his body was fished out from the Nallah at around 7 pm.
