Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, June 17: Jhajjar Kotli Police foiled bovines smuggling bid and arrested one smuggler.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh laid a naka and intercepted one auto without registration number.
During checking, police team rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Hamid Khan, son of Shah Mohammad, a resident of village Mela Khana Chargal Tehsil Nagrota District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 103/2021 under Section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
