Nomadic woman dies after falling from height

RAJOURI, June 17: A middle aged nomadic woman from Rajouri died after falling from a height in Pushana forest area along Mughal Road in Surankote of Poonch district,
The deceased was identified as Sabza Begum (50), wife of Chand Mohammad, resident of Swari in tehsil Kotranka in Rajouri district. She was on way towards her Dhoke (mud-house) at Nagasar in Peer Ki Gali area when she lost balance and slipped down from height at Pushana, falling along Mughal Road. She reportedly died on the spot.
Confirming the incident, Incharge Police Post Behramgala, Sub Inspector Mohammad Rafiq said that the body was recovered by a team from the spot and later on handed over to the family for last rites after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities.
