SRINAGAR, May 4: Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 72 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession here today.
A Police spokesman said that during naka checking at Pantha Chowk, Srinagar police intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK12C-2530 driven by Mohammad Abdullah Dar, a resident of Patrigam Pulwama and on checking, 72 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the vehicle.
He said a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
