8th District Jammu Rope Skipping C’ship concludes

JAMMU, May 4: Two days long 8th District Jammu Rope Skipping Championship, organized by District Jammu Rope Skipping Association under the aegis of Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir and J&K Olympic Association concluded at Baby Caterers Hall, Rehari Colony, here today.
300 students drawn from various schools/clubs participated in the event.
Rajan Sharma, former Divisional Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while SS Gil, former Assistant Commandant BSF was the guest of honour. The Championship was conducted under the supervision of Danish Sharma, Organizing Secretary.
Shangrilla Public School School won the overall Championship, while Delhi Public School Jammu and KC Gurukul School Jammu emerged 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
The Chief guest and the other dignitaries distributed prizes among the players and the teams on the occasion.
