RAMBAN, May 22: A B-Tech pass out died in accident in Chanderkote area of the district, here today.
As per police sources, a youth was seriously injured when the motorcycle (JK19-3143) was riding collided with a truck bearing registration number JK03G-2756 near JP Gate Chanderkote.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to District Hospital and was later referred to GMCH Jammu, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way to Jammu Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Qamar Abbas, son of Basharat Ali, a resident of Chanderkote, District Ramban. The deceased had recently completed his B-Tech degree.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Chanderkote Police Station and investigation started.
