Army holds free medical camp

RAJOURI, May 18: 38 Rashtriya Rifles Batallion organized a free medical camp for residents of Shahdara A and Shahdara B panchayats.
The camp was organized at Shahdara Sharief and a total of 135 persons (99 males and 36 females) from both the panchayats availed the free medical facilities of the camp. The needy patients were also distributed free medicines.
Earlier, a lecture on ‘First Aid’ was also organized by the Army. The event commenced with opening speech by Sarpanch, Shahdara B followed by a lecture by Captain Ravi Sharma of Army on the topic. Army also presented First Aid kits to the people of both the panchayats as well as people of Shahdara Sharief Ziarat which was collected by respective Sarpanchs.
Mushtaq Ahmed Qureshi (Sarpanch, Shahdara A), Rozi Zaffar (Sarpanch, Shahdara B), Khurshid Hussain (Numberdar) and Abdul Qayoom Mir (ACD Poonch) were the important guests of the event.
