KISHTWAR, May 18: Two notorious drug peddlers have been arrested along with large quantity of intoxicant tablets.
As per police sources, on specific information, a joint team from Kishtwar Police Station led by Inspector Suraj Pathania and Incharge Police Post Hidyal SI Rajesh Kumar conducted raid in Sangrambata area and apprehended two notorious drug peddlers along with 370 intoxicant tablets.
The arrested persons have been identified as Akshay Shan, son of Kulbir Shan of Kuleed and Mohammad Anzer Beigh, son of Ghulam Qadir Beigh of Beighpura Cherhar.
A case under FIR Number 95/19 under Section 8/20/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
