Srinagar Dec 17: Directorate of Health Services Kashmir today held campaign against tobacco and smoking wherein children school were sensitized about its harmful effects.
The rally was taken from Gagribal educational institution around Dal Lake Srinagar wherein Deputy Director Health Services Kashmir, District Health Officer, Community Health Officer , Medical Officers , teachers and police personnel besides school going children were the main participants.
The school children while pledging to start the campaign from their homes against tobacco products and smoking were delivered lectures by Zahoor Ragi, PRO to DHSK and Molvi Rehmatullah. During the course of assembly at the Gagribal Educational Institution the circumstances lead to the oath that was taken by two of the smokers to quit the smoking.
