JAMMU, Mar 13: A meeting of All J&K PSC Lecturers Association (JKPSCLA) was held here today under the chairmanship of Manjit Chib, Association president.
Speakers in the meeting highlighted issues like effective implementation of NEP 2020, suitable adjustment of 2017 batch appointees, restoration of old pension scheme, improvement in working of JKBOSE, departmental exams for promotion etc.
The Principals and Lecturers of School Education Department deliberated upon the issues of the Department.
Speaking on the occasion Principal (Retired), S. Dalbir Singh claimed that vested interests have been befooling the cadre for petty interests and JKPSCLA can only check the wrong elements and help the department to uplift the standard of education.
Neeraj Jandyal, Principal shared his experience and cautioned the young PSC lecturers to gear up for larger battle to safeguard the interest of whole lecturer cadre.
Manmeet Bali, Principal also spoke on the occasion.
Manjit Chib highlighted the achievements of JKPSCLA and expressed commitment to ensure the early fulfillment of their most important demand of MACP to end stagnation of direct recruits forever.
He said that the decisions of Principal Secretary, B.K Singh, including elevation of 2400 lecturers as senior lecturers and transparent online ATD are welcome steps.
