JAMMU, Sept 26: Accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Tilak Raj, son of Nasib Chand of Babliana Gangyal District Jammu. He was injured after his scooty was hit by a tipper near Sainik Colony yesterday evening.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs.
A case under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and the accused tipper driver has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
