4 Medical Officers among 26 found absent

RAJOURI, Sept 19: District Administration, Rajouri conducted surprise inspection of 23 Government offices in Darhal, Thanamandi, Plangar, Fatehpur, Manjakote, Kakora, Ghambir and Doongi simultaneously through special squads headed by district officers.
During the inspections 26 officers / officials were found absent while a number of lapses in discipline and office management were noted. Addl District Development Commissioner A S Chib organized the inspections and supervised.
Asstt Commissioner Defence conducted inspection at CHC Darhal where BMO Dr Iqbal Malik was on casual leave while 14 officers were on unauthorised absence which included  Dr Gul Naz, Dr Mir Manwar, both Medical Officers, Ghulam Hussain Opth Technician, Noor Jahan FMPHW, Abdul Majid Opth Asstt, Mohd Qasim Nursing Orderly, Anees Mir BMEO, Ashfaq Ahmed Lab Tech, Sahila Kouser DEO, Liaqat Ali Pharmacist, Shahid Mustafa Lab Tech; Javed Ahmed, Mohd Jan and Badar Din, all Chokidars.
Four officials were found absent at Medical Sub-Centre Ujhan including Naseer Ahmed pharmacist, Shaista Parveen FMPHW-NHM, Naseem Begum FMPHW and Lal Hussain PTS. At Govt HSS Darhal all 24 employees were present at 1:35PM however none of the teachers were in classrooms which has been viewed very seriously. At Boys HSS Darhal all 28 employees were present however classes were found closed at 1:50PM for which ZEO has been asked to explain position. At NT Public Health Centre Dodaj Mohd Younis head pharmacist and Mohd Araf were found absent  while two officials of Niabat Ujhan were found absent.
District Social Welfare Officer conducted extensive inspection in Doongi area. Dr Vikas Sharma MO at PHC Chatyar was found absent while entire staff of GHSS Doongi, ZEO office Doongi, Govt HS Doongi and ISM dispensary Karl bridge was present. Staff was present at Govt HS Mal Sohana while Head Master of Govt High School Ziarat Sharief Palullian was found absent.
Functional Manager, DIC conducted inspections at Fatehpur and Thanamandi including Govt Higher Secondary Schools Fatehpur , Planagar, Thanamandi, Municpal Office Thanamandi and CHC Thanamandi where entire staff was present.
Similar inspections were conducted in Manjakote by Project Manager DIC, where Dr Mehjoor Khalid was found absent at PHC Manjakote while rest of the staff was present. Meanwhile, staff at Govt ISM Dispensary Kakora, Govt Middle School Kakora and ISM Sub-centre Ghambir Brahmna was found present. At GHSS Manjakote Anupam Kumar teacher was absent while entire staff was present in Govt High School Manjakote.
A report has been submitted to District Development Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary for disciplinary action in the matter.
