JAMMU, Dec 19: A team of Geology and Mining Department, assisted by police today conducted raid in Tawi area near 4th bridge late this evening and seized two tippers and one tractor trolley.
Official sources said that the team led by DMO Jammu, BR Bhagat and assisted by Police party from Police Post Canal Road conducted raid late this evening and seized these three vehicles for violating High Court orders. These vehicles despite ban by the J&K High Court were being loaded with sand and stones from Beli Charana area, just below 4th Tawi bridge. The police has registered a case in this connection. The seized vehicles were taken to concerned Police Station.
