SAMBA, Aug 18: Ghagwal police yesterday arrested two Punjab based vehicle lifters and recovered one stolen Maruti car bearing Registration No. JK02M-0435 belonging to one Sourav Singh, S/o Raghubir Singh R/o Gurah Jattan, Ghagwal.
In this regard a case FIR No. 74/2019 U/S 279 RPC had been registered at P/S Ghagwal and investigation was taken up. During the sustained interrogation of both accused persons namely Roshan Din, S/o Saif Ali, R/o Gurdaspur, Punjab and Gulam Nabi S/o Roshan Din R/o Kapurthala, Punjab, a stolen Splendor motocycle bearing Regd. No. PB08A- 8253 has also been recovered today on their disclosure by the Police team headed by SHO P/S Ghagwal, Inspector Sudhir Sadotra under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Samba, Tilak Raj Bhardwaj.
In the instant case, one maruti car and one motorcycle has been recovered so far from the possession of the thieves. Further investigation is still going on.
