JAMMU, Aug 18: Nagrota police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing five cattle and arresting one smuggler.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a load carrier.
During checking, police team rescued five bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person.
The arrested person has been identified as Khurshid Ali, son of Haider Ali, a resident of Ragoora, Sidhra, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 326/19 under relevant sections has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
