JAMMU, Nov 13: Two youths today made abortive attempts on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances in city and its outskirts.
A young man today consumed some poisonous substance in Kanachak area of city outskirts, a police spokesman said.
He said the youth has been identified as Sunder Singh (22) son of Rakesh Singh, a resident of Kanachak. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable, he added.
In another case, Pardeep Kumar son of Amar Chand, a resident of H No-32, Tange Wali Gali also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. Finding him unconscious, the family members shifted him to GMCH, where his condition is stated to be stable.
In both cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
