IDA, Colgate hold future dental professional prog

JAMMU, Nov 13: Indian Dental Association (IDA) in collaboration with Colgate today organized future dental professional programme at the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Sehora, Jammu.
While speaking, Dr Gautam Sharma, general secretary, Indian Dental Association (IDA) and dental surgeon at University of Jammu said that taking cognizance that young professionals need support towards building a brighter professional future, IDA and Colgate have once again come together to focus on creating a student oriented platform through this continuing dental education programme.
Dr Rajiv Mengi, Oral Pathologist and treasurer of IDA said this programme aims to involve and partner academic institutions, opinion leaders, faculty and students with common aim of sharing and building upon the knowledge based through a well planned series, scientific lectures, hands on and poster competition activities.
Dr Ajay Mohan was Organizing Chairman of the programme, while as Dr YK Singla, Principal, IDS, Dr Sunil Mahajan and Dr Arvinder Pal Singh, delivered lectures during the event. Dr Gautam Mengi, Director Academics IDS was also present during the occasion.
Sumit Gandotra from Colgate highlighted achievements of Colgate and support to the dental profession.
Dr Bhupinder Singh, president IDA said “we are planning these lectures in future also in association with Dental Colleges and dental product manufacturers.
