UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: Udhampur Police arrested two drug peddlers in different cases and recovered nine grams of heroin like narcotic substance from their possession.
One drug peddler, identified as Satwinder Singh alias Sunny, son of Veer Singh of Chak Morh, Udhampur, was apprehended by Police patrolling party near Government High School Tikri. He was apprehended by Police party of Police Post Tikri, headed by PSI Abdul Satar, under the supervision of SHO Rehambal Insp Rajesh Sharma under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur.
On frisking, Police recovered five grams of heroin like narcotic substance from his possession following which he was arrested on spot. In this regard, case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
In another case, Police party of Police post Tikri intercepted a bike bearing registration number JK14F- 6084 and during frisking, four grams of heroin was recovered from the rider, identified as Vikram, son of Beli Ram of Magiote, Udhampur .
Case under relevant sections of law has registered in this regard at Police Station Rehambal.
