JAMMU, Nov 26: The police arrested two absconders who were wanted in cases and absconding since long.
Police said that an absconder Mohd Maqbool, son of Mohd Yousaf, resident of Kandi, who was evading arrest in case FIR No. 80/2014 has been arrested.
Another absconder namely Mohd Fareed, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Muradpur in Rajouri who was evading arrest in case FIR No.117/2017 has also been arrested.
Both the accused shall now be produced before court for further course of action.
The arrests have been made by police teams headed by SHO Rajouri Insp Fareed Ahmed under the supervision DySP Hqrs Rajouri Chanchal Singh.
