POONCH, July 6: 16th Annual Samagam today concluded at Gurudwara Sant Bhai Bahadur Singh at Chakkan Da Bagh, here.
About 50, 000 devotees from different parts of the State as well as country participated in the programme. A large number of devotees from Muslim Community also attended the function.
Akal Takht, Jathedar Gyani Gurbachan Singh, from Amritsar and Ragi Jatha from Shri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, were specially invitee on the occasion.
Bhai Mukhtyar Singh, Hazuri Ragi, Dukh Nawarn, Gurudwara Patiala and Gyani Gurmeet Singh Shanth, Hazuri Ragi, Shri Darbar Sahib, also attended the religious function.
Minister for Planning, Ajay Sadhotra and MoS Home Sajad Ahmed Kichloo, Commander, 6 Sector, Brigadier, RP Singh, DC Sajad Ahmed Khan, SSP Poonch, Shamsheer Hussain, Additional SP, Amit Gupta, MLA Poonch, Ajaz Ahmed Jan, PDP candidate for Poonch, Shah Mohd Tantre and many other dignitaries were also present.
The function concluded with serving of langer to all the devotees.
Earlier, president, Gurudwara Committee, Gurudwara Sant Bhai Bahadur Singh, Harcharan Singh Khalsa welcomed the dignitaries.
