SRINAGAR, Apr 13: One person died and 13 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh and Mukhtar Ahmad Thoker of Bugroo were injured when they fell from a bus, JK01C 8188, at Khrimshora in Budgam district. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Tariq Ahmad later succumbed to his injuries at the Hospital.
Seven passengers were injured when a bus bearing registration number JK13 1244 skidded off the road at Gango Pulwama. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
In another accident, five passengers were injured when an Alto car, JK03B 7994, and a Sumo, JK05B 7332, collided at Umarabad Highway. All the injured were shifted to JVC Hospital for treatment.
