Tributes paid to Dr Hahnemann on 259th birth anniversary

KATHUA, Apr 13: J&K Homoeopathic Medical Organisation and Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, J&K branch jointly celebrated the 259th birth anniversary of Dr CSF Hahnemann, the founder of Homoeopathic System of Medicine here.
On the occasion Dr BR Dubb, president, J&K Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine was the special guest.
The function started with lighting of traditional lamp by the special guest and garlanding the portrait of the Dr CSF Hahnemann. All members paid tributes to the founder of the Homoeopathy.
While addressing the gathering Dr Dubb threw light on the life history of the Dr Hahnemann.
He urged the Government to consider their demands including opening of Government Homoeopathic Medical College in J&K on the analogy of Ayurvedic and Unani system of medicine, opening of new Homoeopathic Medical Unit in the State on the pattern of Ayurvedic and Unani, opening of Divisional level Homoeopathic Hospital, regular supply of Homoeopathic medicines in District level homoeopathic medical unit already existing under the roof of district hospital, allotment of equal share of funds for IEC and to organise the camps of homoeopathy in rural areas to further propagate the homoeopathic system of medicine in the State for the benefits of common people, registration of ‘B’ class categories aspirants of homoeopathic due pending in the Board of Homoeopathy J&K and appointment of one Homoeopathic Doctor in existing dispensaries/units of Ayush Department J&K.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Dr BR Dubb.
Among others present were Dr Lalit Sharma, Dr KK Mahotra, Dr Madan Lal Raina, Dr Minakshi Chib, Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Dr Baskar Raina, Dr Satish Sharma, Dr Ritu Bala, Ravi Kumar, Gopal Krishan, Ranjeet Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, etc.
