Bharatiya Bahujan Samajwadi Party merges into BJP

JAMMU, Apr 13: The State unit of Bharatiya Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BBSP), today merged with Bharatiya Janata Party and decided to campaign for the party candidate for Kathua,-Doda Lok Sabha constituency Dr Jintedra Singh from tomorrow to strengthen the BJP and hands of Narendra Modi in the border State of J&K.
This was announced by State president of the party Dr Laiqat Ali Magray at a function at party headquarters here today in presence of senior BJP leaders including its leaders of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria. Dr Magray along with his other office bearers announced merger with BJP.
The new entrants were welcomed into the party fold by Ashok Khajuria, State spokesperson Lalit Moza Adv, senior leader Mohan Singh Chouhan, State treasurer Pramod Kapahi and State press secretary Balbir Ram Rattan.
Welcoming Dr Magray and his team members Ashok Khajuria said that Narendra Modi wave has succeeded in convincing the leaders and general masses of even Muslim community that whatever had been projected about Modi by the Congress and other political parties was exposed as false, fabricated and misleading.
Dr. Liaqat Ali Magray, while speaking on his decision of merging his party into BJP, said that he belongs to a common poor family and the successive Governments of Congress and National Conference only added to the woes of the people and promoted dynasty rule, corruption, nepotism, scams, price rise, unemployment, insecurity etc.
Bahujan Samajwadi Party, State vice president Jay Ram Sharma, State secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed and Youth Leader Sarfraz Ahmed also joined BJP along with Magray.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Front (JPF) president and independent candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Satish Poonchi today announced support to BJP candidate from Kathua-Doda Parlaimentary Constituency Dr Jitendra Singh to strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi.
