Yudhvir asks BJP activists to involve people for strengthening party

JAMMU, June 29: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today asked party workers and leaders to gear up for next Lok Sabha elections and prepare themselves at booth level so that party cadres are strengthened and no area goes unrepresented.
He also asked them to involve people from all walks of life and apprise them of party’s programmes and policies.
Yudhvir Sethi was speaking in a well attended meeting of party workers and team members hled at Mandal and booth levels in Hiranagar Assembly Constituency of which he has been made incharge.
He added that his appointment as incharge is aimed at making a strong team and send it in all directions to make people aware of Government’s policies and achievements. District president BJP, Prem Nath Dogra, Vistarak Inderjit was also present on the occasion.
He asked party men to strengthen booths, hold regular morcha meetings and chose an able Prabhari for four booths before moving ahead in any programme. These developments, he said will be reviewed in next meetings of Mandals scheduled for Sunday wherein Shakti Kendra Pramukh incharge will also be present.
Yudhvir Sethi said Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in PMO with Independent Charge for Development of North Eastern Region, has brought in prestigious institutions to this constituency for its rapid development.
Today we have Passport Kendra here and a Central School for children, besides roads and bridges have been built and dedicated to people for their conveniences.
Earlier, MLA Hiranagar Kuldeep Raj asked party cadres to get involved in social media and highlight programs and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team of ministers.
He said social media leaves an impact on viewers and as such it should be honestly used to promote party programmes and policies. Having wider reach amongst youngsters, the social sites provide a good platform to highlight BJP’s achievements of past four years.
Prem Nath Dogra, Kuldeep Kumar, Gopal Mehangi, Inderjeet Ji, Tersim Singh, Mohan Lal and others also addressed.
