JAMMU, June 29: India is fortunate enough to have large percentage among its population as youth, which is one of the assets to be utilized in making the country developed and prosperous. Their role in nation building becomes more important as their energy and zeal to excel in life can contribute in making India a self reliant nation, thus fulfilling the mission of Narendra Modi Government, which is focusing on encouraging local products.
This was stated by former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, while discussing the vast avenues to achieve the desired goals in life with a group of 28 youth, who joined BJP under the leadership of Advocate Manthan Gupta in a programme held in Ward No. 21 of Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency.
Kavinder Gupta, while welcoming these new entrants into the party fold along with Jammu district president, Vinay Gupta, said that the youth are very energetic and enthusiastic and accept the challenges with strong will and hence they have the potential to become leaders in their respective fields and professions.
Gupta asked them to go through the programmes and schemes of Narendra Modi Government for the benefit of the youth and share them with their friends and colleagues. He expressed hope that their association with BJP would inspire others to come forward as part of an organisation which works on the principle of ‘Nation first, Party second and self last’.
Narinder Koki, district secretary, Nayan Gupta, general secretary, Gandhi Nagar Mandal and party activists were present on the occasion.
