JAMMU, Oct 28: A 28-year-old youth was found lying unconscious in shallow waters of Tawi River near Gujjar Nagar bridge in Jammu.
“The youth was identified as Archit son of Bilson Sotra, resident of Christian Colony, Prem Nagar (Jammu),” a police official said, adding, he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment.
He said Archit was heavily drunk and probably under the influence of liquor, he fell into the river. “The youth is presently unfit for giving any statement but out of danger,” the official added.
