JAMMU, June 28: A 22-year-old boy was today found hanging with a tree outside his rented accommodation in Patnayal village in city outskirts.
According to police official, the youth has been identified as Ankush Kumar son of Durga Dass, resident of Ramnagar, Udhampur. He was presently residing at Patnayal, the official added.
On getting information from the villagers, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after post mortem it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Domana police has initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case.
