SRINAGAR, June 28: Chairman of J&K Bank, Parvez Ahmed, today called on Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar.
During the meeting, Parvez Ahmed briefed the Advisor about various initiatives taken by the bank for up-lift of weaker sections of society besides lending helping hand to the startups.
He also apprised the Advisor about the steps initiated by the bank for expanding its services in rural areas, creating awareness about banking in rural areas besides increasing its infrastructure.
Inspector General of Police CRPF, Ravideep Singh Sahai also called on Advisor and briefed him about certain issues relating to the CRPF’s role and responsibility. He also briefed the Advisor about the current security situation in the State. Advisor complimented CRPF for handling difficult tasks in the State.
A delegation of All J&K Secretariat Employees Union led by its President Ghulam Rasool also called on Advisor and apprised him about some of their important issues.
K Vijay Kumar urged members of the Union to work with zeal, honesty and dedication. He assured them for timely resolution of their problems.
