UDHAMPUR, May 4: A young man near Champari in Chenani near here today committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance.
A police spokesman said that Ajay Kumar, 25, son of Ashok Kumar of Batote consumed some poisonous substance at Champari at roadside and locals noticed him in serious condition when he was vomiting and they rushed him to Sub District Hospital Chenani.
Doctors gave him treatment but he died while being treated and later on his body was sent for post mortem.
After completing all legal formalities, police handed over body of the deceased to his family members.
