Young Panthers accuses Centre of hurting Dogra sentiments

Jammu, Nov 11: Alleging that the Union Government was not taking into consideration the sentiments of Dogras, Young Panthers State Vice President, Partap Singh Jamwal today said that the downgrading of Jammu & Kashmir from State to UT was not acceptable even as scraping of Articles 370 and 35 A is a welcome step.
While addressing a meeting of Young Panthers, Partap Singh said that Centre has betrayed J&K people by downgrading the State to a UT. “The downgrading of status of a 200-year-old State to a UT is irking the minds of the people, especially of Jammu, who felt disgraced and dishonoured,” he added and announced that Young Panthers will continues their battle for separate Statehood for Jammu region so that justice can be delivered to the Dogras.
Other who were present in the meeting, included Tarsem Singh Rakwal, Bhanu Partap Singh Goria, Aditya Hans, Nikhil Sharma, Abhishek Gupta, Sunil Sharma, Kirti Phangotra, Arun Mehra, Vikrant, Shiva, Ashwani Kumar, Vishal Jamwal, Aadesh and S Honey Singh.
