JAMMU, Nov 11: The skipper of Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Cricket team Rajesh Salhotra has been selected as Captain of Board-XI.
The selection of Rajesh Salhotra was made in All India Vice Chancellor T-20 Cricket Board meeting held at Srinagar under the chairmanship of its President Deepak Gone.
The Board has decided that the inauguration match of the 17th All India Vice Chancellor T-20 Cricket Tournament will be played between Board-XI and winner team of the 16th All India Vice Chancellor T-20 Cricket Tournament.
Other than Rajesh, the Board has selected Gurpreet Singh from Punjabi University Patiala as Vice Captain of Board-XI, Pankaj from Punjabi University Patiala and Sanjay from University of Delhi as Wicket Keepers.
Harpreet from Punjabi University Patiala, Nadeem Dar from Kashmir University, Samiullah from Kashmir University, Mudasir from Kashmir University, Suriyakant from Punjab University Chandigarh, Rajesh alias Monu from Punjab University Chandigarh, Anil alias Chillar from University of Delhi, Wasif from SKUAST Kashmir, Niranjan from Jammu University and Vinod from Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) were selected as other players of the Board-XI.
The 14 members Board-XI team was selected from all the quarterfinalist team of 16th All India Vice Chancellor T-20 Cricket Tournament, which was held in Kashmir University Srinagar.
