UDHAMPUR, May 24: In separate incidents of suicide attempts, two young housewives consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances.
While cause of provocation could not be immediately established in either of the case, both of them were referred to GMC Hospital in view of their serious condition.
According to the police reports, Priya Jamwal (24), wife of Surjeet Singh of Omalla Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance at the house of her in-laws . The family members noticed her in serious condition and rushed her to District Hospital Udhampur.
In other case, Suman Kumari (25), wife of Subash Chander of village Kossar Chowka Nallah Sudhmahadev (Chenani), consume d poisonous substance and the family members rushed her to District Hospital Udhampur.
Police has registered both the cases for further investigation.
