UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: A young house wife committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan hook at the house of her in-laws at village Bidha Ghordi in Udhampur distract.
The deceased, identified as Nishu Devi (24), wife of Sham Lal of Bidha, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances. Family members saw her hanging and immediately called the Police, which rushed to the spot and took the body to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation however the cause of the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained.
Meanwhile, a middle- aged man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Garhi, Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Ashok Kumar (50), son of Krishan Lal of Marmat, Doda and he was presently putting up at Garhi Udhampur.
