JAMMU, Aug 21: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology today organised a programme by Director, YCET Dr. Arvind Dewagan about “Anti Ragging, Discipline and Professional Societies”.
Two eminent speakers of the day were Colonel Shiv Choudhary and Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma. Colonel Choudhary, delivered a lecture on “Soft Skill and Personality Development”. He took to the stage in an interactive session, and imparted valuable knowledge to the students.
This was followed by talk session by, Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma, a renowned Senior Consulting Physician, Specialist Diabetologist and a passionate artist. He captivated the audience with a lecture on “Managing Mental and Physical Health with Special Reference to Diabetes”.
This session was precisely designed to highlight the importance of overall well being and sound development of the students and was completely interactive and earned good response from all in attendance.
The proceedings of the day ended once again with emphasis on total overall development, as the students were presented with the motivational movies and sports. It was very enriching and enlightening session for the students and for the faculty as well. The vote of thanks was given by, Dr. B.K Ambasta. The programme was coordinated by Er. Dinesh Gupta, H.O.D Computer Engineering Department.
