Yashpaul honoured with Sahitya Vachaspati Upadhi

JAMMU, Nov 2: Dogri and Hindi Litterateur, cultural activist, linguist, journalist and social worker, Yashpaul Nirmal was awarded with the Sahitya Vachaspati Upadhi by Veer Bhasha Hindi Sahityapeeth, Muradavad (Uttar Pradesh) for his literary contributions in Dogri and Hindi Language.
This was announced today by Dr Ramveer Singh, president, Veerbhasha Hindi Sahityapeeth, Muradavad, Uttar Pradesh, in a statement today.
Needless to mention here that Yashpaul Nirmal was born in village Ghari Bishna of tehshil Akhnoor, district Jammu of J&K state. He got his early education in the Government Primary School, Ghari Bishna. Later, he did his MA and MPhil in Dogri from Jammu University.
He started his carrer as a private school teacher in 1996. He worked as a correspondent with Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala and Vidarv Chandika from 2001 to 2004. Later, he joined Northern Regional Language Centre, Patiala as contractual faculty to teach Dogri and linguistics.
