SRINAGAR, Oct 8: A five day workshop on Educational Evaluation and Paper Setting started here today.
The workshop is being organized by RIE Ajmer in collaboration with JKBOSE. Experts of NCERT are the members of workshop team headed by Chairman RIE Ajmer, Dr. G Vishwanathapa.
The Directorate of School Education Kashmir provided the services of 60 key resource persons who shall get training for five days from the outside experts on evaluation and paper setting, which will increase the realistic thinking and develop the mental ability of students of the state appearing in secondary examination.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Acad-emics (JKB-OSE), Dr. Farooq Ahmad Peer underlined the significance of educational evaluation.
Prof. Vishaw-anathapa shared the recent initiatives being taken up by NCERT in the field of education evaluation.
On this occasion Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N Itoo elaborated the need for a revised scheme of education which is student friendly, comprehensive in nature, deeply linked with the classroom context.
