JAMMU, July 17: A woman allegedly injured in a stove blast succumbed to her injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
“Preeti (35) wife of Sunny, resident of Parwah (Marh), had received 100 % burn injuries in a stove blast occurred at her residence on July 15”, a police official said, adding, she was being treated at GMCH, where she succumbed to her injuries today at about 5:15 PM.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem to be conducted tomorrow while Domana police had initiated inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC in the case.
