BBSAS organises ‘Bhaderwah Got Super Talent’ Reality show

BHADERWAH, July 17: Giving a new dimension to the Prime Minister’s Skill India initiative, Mumbai based ‘Bounce on Beats Singing and Aerobics Studio’ (BBSAS) organised ‘Bhadarwah Got Super Talent’ Reality show to identify raw talent of rural areas.
To locate and groom the best talent and Skill in the field of Dancing and Singing, following a series of auditions at Bhaderwah, Doda and Kishtwar simultaneously, Semifinal of the Reality show under ‘Skill India’ was organised at jam-packed Lalded Auditorium of Bhaderwah Campus.
Taking a break from the regular activities like Computer Training, Tailoring, Ornamental Fish Rearing etc which are normally taken under Prime Minister’s ‘Skill India’ programme, BBSAS came up with a unique initiative to locate Skill in the field of Dancing and Singing for rural youth.
“The initiative is aimed at to engage the youth in Singing, Dancing and provide them a platform to showcase their raw talent, so that they can be groomed to perform at professional level, “ said Raheena Khan, Organiser and Choreographer from Mumbai.
In the semifinal, 65 candidates including 40 girls, who were selected from preliminary rounds, which were held at Doda, Kishtwar and Bhaderwah, competed in 3 categories including Bollywood round,Folk and Dancing.
“Although, I have performed earlier as well but the platform I am performing here is much bigger, it’s like a dream and to connect this with Prime Minister’s ‘Skill India’ initiative is a wonderful idea,” said Karishma Kotwal, a dancing contestant.
“I have only seen these kind of Reality shows on TV but never thought that a place like Bhaderwah can host a programme on such a big canvas and at par with any of the shows ,which we watch on TV,” said Navjot Kour, Mother of a contestant, adding ,”I came here to cheer and support my daughter but now I am spell bound to watch the performance of kids and if given an opportunity they can compete at any level.
It is notable to mention here that beside cash prize, the winners will be given an opportunity to feature in a video song, which may open the Bollywood doors for them.
The Judges for the semifinal included Choreographer, Raheena Khan and Jammu Got Talent winner, Touseef Tabish.
