JAMMU, Mar 13: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Paramjeet (35) wife of Jeet Singh, resident of Jagti (Nagrota), was shifted here at GMCH on February 1 after she suffered burn injuries due to stove blast at her residence.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries yesterday. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
