JAMMU, Jan 28: A woman was killed while her husband received serious injuries after a container hit their scooty in Kunjwani area here today.
As per police sources, a couple namely Kulbhushan Mahajan, son of Mast Ram of Apna Vihar Kunjwani and his wife Neelam Gupta were seriously injured after a container hit their scooty near Kunjwani.
The profusely bleeding injured were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here where doctors declared the lady as brought dead, while the injured man was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
A case under FIR Number 06/2022 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and the driver of the container has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
